Move a spreadsheet to or from iCloud

If you have iCloud set up on your Mac, Numbers saves your spreadsheets to iCloud by default.

You can change a spreadsheet’s location, moving it from iCloud to your Mac or from your Mac to iCloud.

Change a spreadsheet’s location

  • Choose File > Move To (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen), choose a new location from the Where pop-up menu, then click Move.
